Minecraft builds

Technically, this should probably be named an On-the-water House, since only its supports are submerged. Zaypixel is back, this time with the ideal home for a reclusive and powerful spellcaster. This wizard tower home is made from stone bricks, spruce wood, and red brick roofing, and it appears as though it's stood for millenia. This is the perfect build for someone who wants a tall, austere, characterful structure to call their home. With this next house, YouTuber YalChu used nether brick to create a lovely and eye-catching red roofed home that is bound to provide great inspiration for lots of aspiring builders. It's a compact creation surrounded by a stone and iron bar fence, with a small but mighty garden and a compact but stylish interior.

My favorite part is the scaffolding used as little display tables for the potted plants, both adorable and functional. With this build, your new house will be up in no time and you'll be able to have visitors over for cake too. From a small fish tank inside your home to a major building in and of itself, the options are limitless. Parks and nature reserves are some of my very favourite places to go in the real world, and both places make for great building projects in Minecraft. Take a look at this video by YouTuber "Keralis" for inspiration.

Wizard House

The above home was built by YouTuber Kam The Builder, and features carpeted floors, an open-plan kitchen and dining area, and a whole heck of a lot of pink both inside and out. The prismarine roof may give survival players a bit of trouble, but otherwise this is a very easily imitable house for newbies looking to start their Minecraft adventure. Grandeur and scale isn't for everyone, and YouTuber Goldrobin's Hobbit Hole is a good shout for players who dream of living in a compact starter home where everything is in easy reach. For full effect you'll need to recreate the Shire with a good foresty hill for the Hobbit Hole to poke out from, of course. Sometimes one banner isn’t enough to get the exact look you want, especially if you want to spell something out or create a large billboard.

Mountain Watchtower House

The Gran Canyon is huge and pretty much impossible to walk the whole thing in real life. Did you build the WTC, Empire State and other NYC buildings and still don’t have the Brooklyn Bridge. We mentioned the White House before so the Capitol would be something you will need to add eventually. Tbh it is been a really long list we are not even sure you remember either. If we did then an upgrade to it would be an Electric Locomotive.

This handy cave house tutorial by TheMythicalSausage offers some great tips on how to create a practical layout and make it look natural at the same time. Try using slabs and upside-down stairs, and you’ll have an amazing underground base in no time. If you fancy extending it later on to create more rooms, then the relative ease at which you can gather materials makes a wooden house an attractive proposition.

Large Oak Survival House

This is peak creativity and you’ll be able to show off your building skills with this one. This Victorian house design by WBC Builds nails the tall, pointy, gothic look of the nineteenth century’s architecture. Even more impressively, it’s based on a real-life Victorian gatehouse.

As seen in the Lord of the Rings movies, the hobbit house is situated inside a small green hill behind a round, green door opening with adjacent round windows. It has a similar wooden interior complete with more round entryways, plus a lovely little flower garden and chimney outside. This teeny, tiny, ridiculously small Minecraft house created by BigTonyMC is only three by three meters, including the walls. It’s just as efficient and adorable as the previous design, but it looks completely different. If you prefer sturdy, stone walls, this piece of bite-sized brilliance may be the best small house for you. Spruce is objectively one of the best-looking wood types in Minecraft, so if you find yourself in a Taiga biome, it’s only natural to want to build your house from the dark wood.

Straight from the mind of Gorillo, these three options for your first survival house can get you started off right no matter what style you like. From a little A-frame dugout to an underwater base or a stately treehouse, these builds use easy-to-acquire blocks and are quick to put up and move in, so you can get on to exploring and mining. This small brick house by Tanol Games uses classic red brick blocks combined with grey stone bricks, which creates a nice color pattern.

Not sure if you are religious or what religion you follow but something we can deny as builders – Minecraft builders – is that they are pretty easy on the eye. A build like this working lighthouse is always a good idea, not just because is nice looking but also because having “functional” builds in Minecraft gives them an added flavor we love. Look at this cool warehouse, wouldn’t you want to have it in your city? Well leave your imagination work and start building a similar one. Well, we can’t help you with that but we can help you to build it in Minecraft.

Another great idea is to build an historic building you like or from your town. Something like this one which is the Chicago Federal Building could be a good idea. A fountain is something great you can add to any park or mansion, and this one specially looks really good.

The beauty of this base is that you can start off small with somewhere safe to spend the night and expand on it as much or as little as you want, adding more and more rooms and environments as you see fit. DiddiHD has put together another treehouse build, this one even larger and located in the middle of a jungle. It's much more sporadic with the placement of its living areas, which gives it a really nice organic look, as though the house has grown over time along with the tree. Of all the Folli builds featured on this list, this one is surprisingly my favourite.

If you are overwhelmed by the idea then check out this Survival base world to get you a head start. As you can see quickly in the picture it is really easy to build but still made a post about it in case you want to read it. We found this mod with a few different furniture designs that will be helpful for you. Literally looked everywhere and got the ultimate Minecraft building ideas list.
